DISCLAIMERS

Contraindications

Please note that if you are diagnosed with the following conditions, it is best to not have a permanent makeup tattoo procedure

  • Pregnant or nursing

  • Actively receiving Chemotherapy/ Radiation Therapy

  • Botox/Injections within 3 weeks prior to scheduled procedure

  • Epilepsy

  • Taking Accutane, Antasure, or Steroids

  • Any transmittable blood conditions (HEP or HIV)

  • Diabetic or on blood thinner medications

Cold Sores Pre-Caution

Please be aware that if you have the simplex virus herpes before, you may awaken an outbreak following a Lip Blush/Lip Neutralization procedure. It is highly recommended to take an anti-viral medication such as Valtrex 4 days before, then the day of the procedure, then 3 days after or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not get lip injections 4 weeks before and until 4 weeks after this procedure. If your appointment is booked during an outbreak of cold sores on your lips, the procedure may not be done.

How to Prevent Bleeding and Sensitivity

Clients who have taken blood thinner medications, drank coffee, tea, soda, and/or alcohol prior to the scheduled appointment will be extra sensitive and most likely to bleed on the day of the procedure. If you bleed, your results will not be promising. Caffeine, alcohol, and blood thinners can combat against numbing creams, and make you feel more sensitive to being tattooed. Clients who have scars on their treated area from cold sores, sun damage, and etc., are extremely sensitve as well.
